Vela Links sends push notifications from the dashboard, through your own Firebase project, only to people who agreed. It respects quiet hours in the person's own time zone and a weekly limit, shows you who would get it before you send, and keeps the results.

Do I pay for push?

Vela Links sends through your own Firebase project. Firebase Cloud Messaging has no per-message charge.

Why did fewer people get it than I expected?

The Who would get it box says why for each group: no token, no consent, quiet hours and so on.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Firebase sends to iPhones once you add your Apple (APNs) key to Firebase. The iOS SDK gives Vela Links the token, either the Firebase one or the plain APNs one.
